Some input fields let you add basic formatting to the text.
The toolbar shows the options available to you.
To turn preview on/off, click the eye icon on the toolbar.
To expand to use the full browser window, click the double arrow on the right side of the toolbar. Click again to go back to normal mode.
For bold and italic text, lists and more, select formatting from the toolbar or write the markup directly in the field. From left to right:
