Demo image

The demo image is a central part of the resources we are making available. We will continously try to improve the quality of this image, but it is already more than useful for demonstrations purposes. The image is currently apx. 12G, and consequently it is not available for download. Currently, we are distributing it using memory sticks. Hopfully, we will get a better method for distributing the upgrades to the image in the future.

The image contains the following software and configurations:

• English Windows XP with support for country specific keyboards.
• English Office 2007.
• English installation of SuperOffice CRM 6.2.
• English installation of SuperOffice eJournal 4.9.
• MailEnable SMTP/POP3/IMAP server, allowing demonstration of sending and receiving email.
• Full integration between CRM and eJournal.

When booting the image, login with Administrator and no password. On the desktop you will find a small document listing the various usernames and passwords of the installed software.

Outlook is configured with the user "John Doe" with email address personal@company.com.

When you start Internet Explorer, it will by default start up with two tabs, one for the internal interface for SuperOffice eJournal, and one for the external (the Customer Care Center).

The eJournal installation is configured to send/receive email every 10 seconds, to make sure it can be properly demonstrated. It contains a few hundred requests which will allow you to search "last requests", "own open requests", etc. There is also a selection available which will list these requests, but with time-to-reply/time-to-close columns listed and averaged. This allows you to show this grouped by category, owner, etc.

In the eMarketeer section, there is already a message called "eMarketing template 1" which can be used for demonstrating. There is also a selection called "Selection which gives John Doe" which can be used to demonstrate an eMarketing mailing. The eMarketing module will only send emails pr. minute, so if you demonstrate this functionality it will take a few minutes to complete the whole shipment. An easier method to demonstrate merging, etc is to use the "Send test"-tab on the message, and choose John Doe as recipient.
